Welcome Reception
The conference will be officially opened on Sunday evening by Professor Ann Van Soom, Chair of the LOC, and Professor Alan McNeilly, Chair of the Society for Reproduction and Fertility. A buffet and drinks reception will be held in the exhibition hall providing delegates with the chance to renew old acquaintances whilst absorbing the historical atmosphere of the University. We warmly invite all participants to arrive in time to enjoy this part of the programme.
Attended Poster Session
There will be a poster viewing evening on Monday 5th April. Drinks and nibbles will be served during this evening, which will provide an excellent opportunity for research topics to be discussed in a relaxed and friendly atmosphere. Posters will be displayed throughout the conference.

SRF Postgradoc Lunch
All junior members of the Society are invited to register for the SRF Postgradoc Lunch, which will take place on Tuesday 6th April. This informal lunch provides an opportunity to meet other members of the Society at comparable stages in their research training as well as the current members of SRF Council. Traditionally, at the end of this lunch, a new postgradoc representative is elected to serve on one of the SRF's Committees (Education & Development, Finance, Meetings, or Publications), ensuring that the Society can hear and respond to the views of those relatively new members that will become the Councillors and Officers of the Society in future years.
Conference Dinner
All delegates are invited to the Conference Dinner held at the Poortackere Monasterium on Tuesday evening. Once you step inside this former nunnery, whose history dates back as far as 1278, you will find an oasis of peace, hidden away from the bustle of the city. The building that turned its back on the world for so many centuries now reveals its secrets to a few favoured guests.
The Conference Dinner will be held in the elaborate St. Autbertuschurch, a truly magnificent venue where the typical monastery spirit remains.
Please note that the number of delegates attending the dinner is restricted (by the venue) to a maximum of 150 people. Tickets will be sold on a strictly "first come-first served" basis.
