The Society is offering a Special Subsidy of £500 for any non-statutory member who wishes to attend the World Congress of Reproductive Biology in Hawaii, May 2008.
- The Subsidy will be paid on confirmation of WCRB attendance, together
with travel and/or accommodation receipts (which must be appropriately
dated and verifiably relevant to the WCRB).
- Applications, with supporting documentation,
must be received by the Society's office within one month of the end
of the WCRB.
- Applicants must have been fully paid up non-statutory members or
student members of the Society for the 2007 membership year. Applications
from new or lapsed members joining in 2008 will not be considered.
- Applicants for the Subsidy may not also apply for a Society Travel
Grant for attending the WCRB, neither may they apply for a Travel Grant
for the adjacent SSR and Relaxin conferences.
- Members may apply for the Subsidy without reference to previous Travel
Grants they may have received and without affecting future applications.
- The Society's Support for Conference Attendance scheme does not apply
to the WCRB.
- The Subsidy will be paid as a £Sterling cheque. Any currency conversion or bank charges must be paid by the recipient.
