Special WCRB Subsidy
The Society is offering a Special Subsidy of £500 for any non-statutory
member who wishes to attend the World Congress of Reproductive Biology
in Hawaii, May 2008.
Conditions
Travel Awards
The Council of Management of the Society for Reproduction and Fertility is prepared to make grants to members of the Society, up to a maximum of £350 in any two year period for (a) travel or (b) cost of special publications, subject to the availability of funds. Support for Junior Members
One of the major functions of the SRF is to support its members, and the Society would particularly like to encourage more junior members (post graduate and post doctoral students (within 6 yrs of attaining a PhD) to attend its meetings. The Society will offer up to £375 for its junior members to attend the Annual Conference. For eligibility and application form go to Support for Junior members
Vacation Scholarships
As part of its policy of furthering research and education in the biology of reproduction, the Society for Reproduction and Fertility invites applications from undergraduate students for a limited number of Vacation Scholarships. The objective of these scholarships is to enable particularly promising students to work during the summer vacation in university departments or research institutes in the UK or Irish Republic on research projects related to reproduction, fertility and lactation in man and other animals. Travel Grants
Applicants can receive a maximum of £350 in any 2 year period. Applications must be submitted in advance of the event to which they relate, and grants will normally be made in advance. All grants will be paid in £'s sterling. A short report is required on the usefulness of the meeting. Applicants are required to have paid their current Society membership subscription.
Travel grants applications will be considered for the according to the deadlines below:
- Deadline 15th January
- Deadline 15th April (30th April -30th September)
- Deadline 15th September (30th September -30th January)
Applicants will be normally be informed within month of the application deadline
