The Society’s principal aim
is to support research and teaching in all aspects of
reproductive biology.
To achieve this objective, the educational and career
development activities of the SRF are overseen by the
Education and Development
Committee, which organises four main activities:
Providing Travel
Grants to support the attendance of SRF members
at relevant scientific meetings and courses.
Awarding Vacation
Scholarships to enable undergraduate students
to experience science first hand through short lab-based
summer projects.
Organising the SRF
Undergraduate Essay Prize competition to engage
students with contemporary topics in reproductive
biology, and develop their skills as science communicators.
Development of the SRF Website
as an educational resource for members and the public.
